Discover Azerbaijan’s countryside on a 3-day 2-night tour to remote villages meanwhile trekking through changing landscapes, nature and wildlife at 2250m above sea level. This is also an experience to witness the coexistence of communities, though in separate settlements, Shiites, Sunnis and Jews in Guba, and ancient peoples of Khinaligis, Grizis in remote villages. We do homestay with host families in the villages we travel to. Meanwhile, you will taste the local cuisine of the people.
This trip is great for those wants to combine hikking in Greater Caucasus with cultural and heritage exploration of Guba.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This 3-day adventure begins with drive from Baku to the Guba region, followed by a challenging hike from Grizdahna to the remote mountain village of Griz via the historic “Eh Yolu” trail. On Day 2, expect panoramic canyon views and rugged terrain as you trek from Griz to Galakhudat and onward to the highland village of Khinalug, known for its ancient culture and stunning setting. The hikes vary in difficulty, with clearly marked trails ranging from steep ascents to gentler paths. On the final day, enjoy a relaxed exploration of Khinalug before returning to Guba for cultural stops including the Genocide Memorial, mosques, and the Jewish Red Town. The trip concludes with a comfortable drive back to Baku, rich in memories and mountain vistas.
