OVERVIEW
In Baku private day tour, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage site at Gobustan National Park to eyewitness culture of prehistoric humans, and Mud volcanoes in Gobustan (a surface similar to one on the Moon) Bibi Heybat Mosque, a historic mosque with cultural and social value. In the afternoon we stop for lunch with shared meals of traditional cuisine for all.
Afterward, we visit the castle-like Hindu-Zoroastrian pilgrimage site of Ateshgah (fire temple) Temple and the ever-lasting fire at Yanardag (fire mountain).

WHAT TO EXPECT?
We pick you up from a hotel and drive to Gobustan along the southern highway across service facilities of the oil and gas industry. Then, you have a guided tour of the Gobustan Museum and Boyukdash Mountain. Next up, we drive 15 minutes to visit the site of the mud volcanos. You’ll spend about half an hour sightseeing and photo-shooting Baku’s mud volcanoes. Then, we drive back to the city and stop by Bibi Heybat Mosque (Women to wear headscarf).
In the city, we stop by a local restaurant for shared meals. We try all the main highlights of traditional Azerbaijani cuisine.
After lunch, we drive to the Ateshgah (the fire temple). Then, you have a guided tour of the Fire Temple. Then, we drive to Fire Mountain to observe the natural gas flare. Toward the end, we get back to the city and drop off at the hotel.
Attractions covered are Gobustan Rock-Art Museum, Mud volcanoes in Gobustan and Bibi Heybat Mosque, Ateshgah (Fire Temple), and Yanardag (Fire Mountain).
