OVERVIEW
In this day trip to Khinalug, Guba, one of Azerbaijan’s highest mountain villages, you will explore the lifestyle of remote villagers in the countryside in 2350m altitude. Khinalug is also considered one of the most ancient and continuously inhabited places in Azerbaijan. You will have a chance to visit Red Town (Qırmızı Qəsəbə or Krasnaya Sloboda) in Guba city which is one of the last strongholds of Mountain Jews in the Caucasus as well as visit mosques of Shiite and Sunni communities of Guba.
